I really like this quote. Although it's not directly tied to the baby, I think its a nice reminder that we are all humble and learn everyday, especially as Brian and I begin our journey as new parents.
* Couple of weeks have passed, we are now 38 weeks & 3 days. According to Dr. I'm 1cm dialated, but no contractions yet. Baby is doing great, healthy and growing!
* The baby shower was awesome, thanks again to Christine and Julie for hosting such a great time, and thanks to all my friends and family who came out to enjoy the afternoon. So many great gifts not enough room here to mention them all.
* Another rountine Dr. appointment today, all is good in womb world.
* returned from Michigan, great to see family and friends. Although I would not wish airport traveling at 30 weeks pregnant on my worse enemy. That being said made it home safe and sound with all our luggage.
* another baby check in today, unfortunatly I've learned I'm now low on iron...doubleing my supplement. No worries, have some time to bring it back up. We leave for Michigan tomorrow to visit family over Chrismtas, can't wait!
What's to tell here that isn't in the blog...let's see...I've studied classical violin for the majority of my life. I'm a decaf Starbucks drinker and a bit of a klutz. I like the word boondoggle which means to dawdle or delay, both of which are tendencies I seem to possess. I find happiness in daily small surprises like a hidden chocolate bar in the glove compartment, or the way our house looks when the sun first hits our windows. I fear walking up the basement stairs with the lights off, how quickly things can be lost, and bugs, all bugs. I'm a new mother, a loving wife, a working producer, my parent's daughter, my best friend's sister. I know I use ... too much in my writing but it's the best way to keep up with my wondering thoughts.
